Mercedes-Benz delivers 60 urban midibuses to the city of Pachuca in Mexico

The Three Pointed Star has always been characterized by providing sustainable mobility solutions by incorporating buses of the highest quality, safe and with the greatest comfort for users.

That is why, once again, Mercedes-Benz together with the distributor Zapata Trucks reaffirms its commitment with the delivery of 60 Toreto model buses to the company Corredor Téllez-Hospitales that will serve from the south to the east of the Pachuca metropolitan area.

The units are configured with a chassis LO 916/48 with AYCO body 9 meters long, it should be noted that the units have a more aesthetic front, giving a touch of modernity. They also have a Mercedes-Benz OM 924 LA Euro V engine, with 154 hp @ 2,200 rpm, torque of 428 lb-ft @ 1,200 – 1,600 rpm, synchronized 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive in 5th gear. Additionally, they are equipped with 33 high-strength plastic seats.

Currently, the Corredor Téllez-Hospitales company has 171 active members of the Tuzobús system, generating jobs for 400 direct Mexican families. This service has an average capacity of 25 thousand users per day.
